Ex-Trump lawyer calls Elaine Chao “China” in racial attack

President Trump’s former campaign lawyer Sydney Powell went on the attack against both Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and his wife, Secretary of Transportation Elaine Chao this week.

Powell went after the couple after McConnell acknowledged the election of Joe Biden as President despite President Trump’s baseless insistence the election is fraudulent.

“So Senate Majority leader decided to aid and abet the biggest criminal fraud and coup in history?,” Powell tweeted. She also retweeted a post from a Trump supporter saying “Mitch is married to China.”

Chao is actually a native of Taiwan.

Trump has continuously used China as red meat, referring to the coronavirus as both the “Kung flu” and the “China virus.”

Powell has repeatedly challenge the election results in various courts, only to lose every step of the way. This as the President has built a massive war chest of $495 million in contributions from supporters who apparently buy into his rhetoric, reports the Washington Post.

  1. The optics for the Majority Leader and his Mrs. do not look good. This is particularly so knowing that the Gang of 8, including McConnell knew that Swalwell had a Chinese spy issue and because of the McConnell’s Chinese business dealings. I think that Mitch, among many others in the Washington swamp have a lot of ‘splaining to do!
