Comedian Ken Jeong will usher out 2020 and ring in 2021 with co-host Joel McHale tonight on Fox TV’s New Year’s Eve Toast and Roast 2021.
The former stars of the NBC comedy Community reunite for this countdown show. The pair promises this will not be your traditional New Year’s Eve program.
“You got your Carson Daly and you’ve got your Ryan Seacrest, Andy Cohen. Those are going to be way better. They’re super professional,” said McHale.
Then there’s the two of them.
“It’s just like you’re ringing in the new year with people you love, friends and family and Joe McHale,” Jeong joked on WSVN.
The program will originate from Los Angeles with reports from Kelly Osbourne in New York’s Time Square.
Performances include David Guetta featuring Raye along with Carole Baskin, Dionne Warwick, Ice-T & Coco, Jason Biggs, LeAnn Rimes, Gloria Estefan, Doctor Elvis, John Legend, Green Day, Ava Max and Gabby Barrett. Celebrity appearances scheduled include Cheyenne Jackson, Jane Krakowski, Leslie Jordan, Mayim Bialik, Morris Chestnut, Randy Jackson, Tim Allen and Tom Payne, reported Deadline.
The show will air from 8-10 and resume at 11 until 12:30 a.m.
