Actor Randall Park recently found out he received a COVID-19 vaccine in September 2020 when participating in a medical trial.
Park told The Talk hosts Friday he learned about the medical trial from actor and medical doctor Ken Jeong. Jeong told Park the vaccine trial was looking for Asian participants.
Park was intrigued and found out it was taking place near his home.
“I was bored because it was the pandemic, I was stuck in the house, and I was like, ‘Maybe I should donate my body to science,'” Park said on The Talk.
“I figured it would be my way of helping kind of fight this thing happening throughout the world. So I enlisted in the trial. I didn’t know if I got the placebo or the actual vaccine, but I just found out yesterday that I got the vaccine.”
