Madame Tussauds in New York will soon unveil a wax figure of Kamala Harris, making her the first Vice President to ever get one from the famed museum.
The Business Insider reports the likeness of Harris will be alongside one of President Biden and will be situated in the “Oval Office experience.”
The museum recently released a video of its work on Facebook.
“We were keen to focus on her smile and the warmth in her eyes,” sculptor David Burks told CNN about the Harris wax figure. “It’s that twinkle in the eye that’s so hard to capture… a genuine warmth that’s really important to get into our figures.”

Harris will be depicted wearing her inaugural dress. The same designer behind the dress also worked on the dress for Madame Tussauds-Christopher John Rogers.
NBC reports it took six weeks to create the wax heads and it will take another four to six months to create their bodies.
Madame Tussauds says each model will cost about $300,000.
“It’s quite a price, but we’re… making them look as authentic as possible so the guests get the sense they could move at any minute or that they can put their arm around their heroes,” Burks said to CNN.
