Three Indian American siblings have raised over $280,000 to send medical supplies for COVID-19 patients in India, News18 reports. The money will be used to provide equipment like oxygen concentrators and ventilators to patients in Delhi.

Three 15-year-old triplets Gia, Karina and Armaan Gupta are founders of a non-profit organization called “Little Mentors.” They used their network to help raise money, as well as asking for help from friends and family.

“We need everybody’s help in this as such an enormous task can only be accomplished by teamwork. We are very fortunate to work with an excellent team of physicians, both in the US and India. We are further working on getting vaccine supplies,” they said according to Tribune India.

The triplets have also been working to get senators and congressmen to lift the critical supply embargo.

They’ve asked that the equipment donated eventually be used to help other patients not in the areas it is being sent to.

“Our only request is to return it (the equipment) when it’s not further needed as the next patient can use it,” they said according to Tribune India.
