Indian Am musician who mastered 107 instruments honored

17-year-old Neil Nayyar, who holds the record for mastering more instruments than anyone in the world, has been named Volunteer of the Year.

The annual award from his home town of Elk Grove in California recognizes his volunteer work performing at the United Nations Association of Sacramento Chapter for many years, reported Indica News.

Nayyar is well known in the community as youngest Assist Foundation’s World Record Holder for the most instruments mastered by a single musician.

According to Buzz Music, he originally broke the record at the age of 12 mastering 44 instruments. One year later, he nearly tripled that record to 107.
