CATEGORIES

A song which a group of young teenage girls performed at this month’s Rock Against Hate concert is going viral.

The girls known as the Linda Lindas performed Racist Sexist Boys which is based on a recent experience of the one of the girls during the pandemic.

The Los Angeles Public Library featured the girls as part of its AAPI Heritage Month celebration. The library amplified the concert even further by putting it up on social media.

A recent tweet by the Los Angeles Public Library about the concert generated 108,000 likes, 1,200 retweets and 3.2 million views.

The band is made up of Mila, 10, Eloise, 13, Lucia, 14, and Bela, 16. They’ve already been featured on The Claudia Kishi Club, Moxie and the Rock Against Hate concert presented by AsAmNews, The Slants Foundation and Asian American Movies.
