A Colorado Springs man is under arrest for the murder of his wife who has been missing for two years, reports KKTV.
Police arrested Dane Kallungi Wednesday on first degree murder charges while he tried to get onto Kirtland Air Force Base in New Mexico.
“Detectives conducted numerous interviews and executed nearly three dozen search warrants since this investigation was initiated,” Lt. James Sokolik said in a statement. “Detectives have also recovered and processed numerous items of physical evidence.”
According to KOAA, authorities believe he strangled his wife and buried her in Southern Colorado. She has not been located.
The mother told the station the couple met on an online dating site and married in 2017.
