Ticketless fans stormed the entrance of Wembley Stadium in London to get into the Euro 2020 Finals Sunday.
The championship between England and Italy marked the first time England had ever played in the European Championship and England’s first tournament final since the 1966 World Cup.
Reporters at the match say some fans were able to get into the stadium despite efforts by security to fill in the breach.
According to a tweet from reporter Kyle Glen, fans repeatedly kicked an Asian man down on the ground in the head while another “full grown man” punched a child.
Security managed to get the Asian man off the ground and took him to safety.
The extent of any injuries the Asian man may have sustained is not known.
Italy beat England on penalty kicks.
