Suspect IDed in homicide at Canal St subway station in Chinatown

The New York Police Department Monday released the name of the suspect in a homicide at the Canal Street Subway Station in Manhattan Chinatown.

Investigators say David Robinson attempted to pull a backpack off the back of Than Htwe’s son. The action sent both Than and her son Kyaw Zaw Hein tumbling down the stairs. The 58-year-old mother died of her head injuries this week and the family has donated her organs.
