The Hate Crime Task Force is New York is investigating an apparent anti-Asian assault in Midtown New York.
A suspect on Sunday is accused of telling a woman “F*cking Asians, go back to China” and then punched her in the face, reports the New York Daily News.
According to the New York Post, police say the same man poured Chinese food on the victim’s husband after also shoving her to the ground.
Pix11 reports the suspect is believed to be homeless.
The victim suffered back pain, but reportedly refused medical treatment.
