Almost four months after a motorist struck and eventually killed a doctor on his way to work in Philadelphia, his killer remains on the loose.
His wife is pleading for a witness to come forward and help solve this case.
Police say the driver of a pick up truck struck Doctor Gohar Zimran, 34, while he drove to work on his motorcycle on June 6 after 10:30 a.m. at the corner of Rising Sun and Duncannon, reports Fox 29.
The Temple hospital doctor died 41 days later from his injuries.
Police say the pick up fled the scene.
“I’m asking for help from anyone who can come forward and help us in this matter. I have two small young children. We need justice,” Sonia Bhatti said.
A $20,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest in the case.
“Less than a year after he became an attending physician at (Temple University Hospital.) We are left with nothing. My both children need a father and I lost a husband,” said Bhatti to ABC6.
