Authorities believe Colorado Springs gun shop owner Christof Kreb, 55, shot and killed his wife and two of their adopted children, before killing himself, The Gazette reports.
On Saturday morning, police received a call from a child inside the Kreb home, The Daily Beast reports. The child said one of his siblings wasn’t moving. Sheriff’s deputies arrived and found the bodies of Christof, his wife, Yvette Siegert-Kreb, 50 and two of their children, 13-year-old Felicity, and 9-year-old Barrett.
The Kreb family had nine children. Alexa Gromko, who has known the Krebs since 2010, told The Gazette that six of the children were adopted from China. Barrett and Felicity are e two of the six adoptees.
Gromko also said that Yvette had been homeschooling Felicity, who had dwarfism and learning disabilities. Barrett had recently had surgery.
Christof owned a gun store in the area called Specialty Sport & Supply, The Daily Beast reports. He was also a competitive shooter. He had competed with some of his sons.
Police have yet to determine a motive, but they believe Christof murdered his wife and two children before killing himself.

I wonder how the first set of parents feel about giving up on Barrett, allowing him to be adopted and now murdered at the hands of his second adoptive father!
