A24 has released a trailer for its latest sci-fi movie Everything Everywhere All At Once,” starring Michelle Yeoh.
The film is directed by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, known collectively as Daniels, Indie Wire reports. Daniels directed “Swiss Army Man” in 2016.
The film focuses on the story of Mrs. Wang (Yeoh), an exhausted Chinese American woman who can’t seem to finish her taxes, Deadline reports. Wang soon discovers a multi-verse where there are thousands of versions of her spread across it.
Wang is able to access the skills and memories of the different versions of herself.
“There’s a great evil spreading throughout the many [universes],” a character played by Ke Huy Quan tells her, “and you may be our only chance of stopping it.”
The cast also features Stephanie Hsu (“Shang-Chi”), James Hong (“Blade Runner”), Jenny Slate (“Obvious Child”) and Harry Shum Jr. (“Crazy Rich Asians”).
The film is set for release on March 25, 2022.
