Hyunjung Lee Helps Davidson to Its First Top 10 Win Since Steph Curry

Korean college basketball player Hyunjung Lee helped his team secure its first win against a top 10 team since 2008.

Lee plays for Davidson College. The Davidson Wildcats faced the University of Alabama (ranked #10) on December 21.

Lee, who is a guard, had 17 points, three assists and four rebounds that night. He shot 50 percent from the 3-point range, ESPN reports. The Wildcats won 79-78.

It is their first top-10 victory since the 2008 NCAA Tournament when Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry played for the team. Many fans feel that Lee, like Curry, is a great 3-point shooter. Last season he was the first player in Davidson history to finish a season shooting 50 percent from the field, 40 percent from three, and 90 percent from the free-throw line.

Lee is currently a junior at Davidson. It is unclear what his plans might be after college.
