Police are investigating an assault on an elderly Asian woman in Oakland, KTVU reports.
The attack occurred in broad daylight on Monday, January 10. Surveillance footage shows an elderly Asian woman being shoved to the ground as she walks in the 350 block of 9th Street.
In the video, the attacker leaves and walks on toward Franklin Street.
The Oakland Police Department responded to reports of the assault but could not find the victim when they arrived, KRON 4 reports. They believe the victim is about 70-years-old and 5 feet tall.
A witness told the police that the victim had minor scrapes to her legs, KTVU reports.
