Young Asian Woman From Oakley Missing

CATEGORIES

Authorities are continuing to search for a young Asian woman who has been missing since last Wednesday, The Sacramento Bee reports.

Alexis Gabe, 24, was reported missing by her family after she did not come home on the night of January 26. Authorities have said she vanished under “suspicious circumstances.”

Gabe was reportedly last seen at her ex-boyfriend’s house in Antioch, east of San Francisco. On Thursday, her family found her car with the keys still in the ignition, KTVU reports. There was no sign of Gabe.

Police have questioned her ex-boyfriend multiple times. They will not confirm whether he is a suspect in the case.

An Oakley police spokesperson has told SF Gate that a search warrant has been issued for a residence in Antioch.

Gabe’s family and friends have continued to search tirelessly for her. They have created a Facebook page for her family to share updates. There is also a GoFundMe that will be used to help buy posters and supplies for the search.

“We’re just trying to notify the community, notify the surrounding areas, really just trying to spread the word and get her face out there so people are paying attention,” said Morgan Strenfel, the girlfriend of Gabe’s brother told KTVU.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Oakley Police Department at (925) 625-8060.
