Hawaii Five-O actress Cindy Chu accused the Los Angeles Police Department of being overly aggressive with her when responding to a “false report” of domestic violence at her home.
Chu sent out a series of tweets in which she states “LAPD pounded on our door” and “cuffed without telling us what they were even here for.”
She said someone had called dispatch and gave 911 her address as a scene of domestic violence, but she says she and her partner had just returned from a night out and were about to have protein shakes.

“It was very scary for me, I’ve never been hand cuffed esp for no apparent reason! We weren’t even sure who was pounding on our door yelling at first. They came in hot, hands at the ready, yelling at us to come out & that we weren’t to shut the door on them. Wtf.”
Chu said the police later came to the conclusion they had the wrong address.
“If it was someone harassing us and trying to swat us, fuck you! I’ll be calling the station to discuss this false call & how all the extra force was completely unnecessary,” she tweeted.
Chu’s IMDB account shows credits for such shows as Hawaii Five-0, New Girl, and McGyver.
LAPD, please stop “just being you”, and CHANGE. You are long overdue. And fools in the eyes of something called “the outside world”.
