The 2022 Met Gala’s theme was a play off last year’s theme “In America.” The focus of this year’s American theme was an “Anthology of Fashion.” The dress code was “Gilded Glamour.”
Olympic gold medalist Chloe Kim wore a Giambattista Valli Couture ball gown.
“I just wanted to do a beautiful, big ball gown, and he is king of the ball gown, so I just had to and I was so excited when I saw this dress,” Kim told Extra TV.
Mindy Kaling wore a purple gown designed by Prabal Gurung.
