Netflix released a trailer Wednesday for its latest romantic comedy, “Wedding Season.”
The movie follows Asha (Pallavi Sharda) and Ravi (Suraj Sharma) who “pretend to date each other to survive a season of weddings.” Asha specifically is trying to escape the pressure her mother has put on her after breaking up her engagement, Broadway World reports.
Sharma rose to fame after his role in Ang Lee’s The Life of Pi. Sharda is well known for her work in Bollywood and the Oscar-nominated picture Lion.
Wedding Season will be available for streaming on Netflix on August 4. Watch the trailer below.
