A hearing is scheduled to be held Tuesday for a man accused in the fatal shooting of a 76-year-old man on a walk in his Philadelphia neighborhood, CBS reports.
Wagner Tejeda-Pena, 24, is accused in the hate crime death of Loi Nguyen in Philadelphia and in the stabbing of two people in Boston, according to ABC6.
Authorities announced his arrest Friday after apprehending him in Lawrence, Massachusetts after a manhunt in several states including Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
He’s accused of walking up to Nguyen from behind and shooting him in the head.
“Loi was walking down the back driveway, seemingly minding his business with his hands in his pocket,” Philadelphia Police Chief InspectorFrank Venore said to NBC10. “An individual wearing a red hooded sweatshirt runs directly by him.”
