‘Ms Marvel’ reportedly rated the highest MCU production ever

‘Ms. Marvel’ made history by having the first Pakistani superhero in a Marvel Cinematic Universe production, and now it is the highest rated out of all the MCU projects on Rotten Tomatoes.

The show, which concluded its first season, made the top ranking Marvel show or movie on the American review-aggregation website Rotten Tomatoes, The National News reports.

‘Ms. Marvel’ currently has a 98 percent fresh rating on the website followed by ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D’ ranked at 95 percent and ‘Daredevil’ at 92 percent.

These ratings are a turnaround from June when the show first aired and ratings were at an all-time low for a Marvel production on Disney Plus. ‘Ms. Marvel’ brought in a diverse audience, but there was a low viewership within the first five days after the premiere.

The success of the TV series shows a promising future. ‘Ms. Marvel’ is the story of a Pakistani American teenager named Kamala Khan who discovers she has superpowers that are similar to the ones of her favorite superhero, Captain Marvel.

Khan is played by actress Iman Vellani and she is the first Pakistani American to star in a Marvel production.

A second season of ‘Ms. Marvel” has not been announced, however, Khan will be back and on the big screen for the film ‘The Marvels,’ a sequel to ‘Captain Marvel.’
