Former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley implied that she might run for president in 2024 while speaking at a summit on Monday.
According to The Hill, the summit was hosted by Christians United for Israel. Haley was criticizing President Biden’s desire to return to the 2015 Iran nuclear deal.
“And if this president signs any sort of deal, I’ll make you a promise… The next President will shred it – on her first day in office,” Haley said during her speech, according to WIS News 10.
She also posted a tweet including the same quote.
The Hill reports that Haley has recently attended a few events in Iowa, the first state in the country to hold presidential caucuses each election. Her recent actions may contradict comments she made last year stating that she would not run if Donald Trump launched his own campaign.
