Asian American Music Festival Slated for This Weekend

This weekend AAX Media will present its 2022 Asian American Music and Cultural Festival in partnership with Levitt LA.  Performers slated to appear Saturday evening at the Levitt Pavillion in Los Angeles include singer-songwriter Jinu Park, Kpop Dancer YouTuber Sheryl Chang, Tiffany Z, Vibinus, American recording artist, activist, and well-respected attorney Calistar, Duen Dance, Bungalo/Universal Recording artist singer-songwriter Izzy Spring, Peach Cigs, Wink, and Mini Wink.

Sunday’s afternoon show features Dodream, Samulnori, Eungwha Kim.  In addition, there will be a Video Game Challenge for attendees. 

The show is sponsored by AAX Media, which is a non-profit organization that  now has a full time radio station devoted to Asian American interests and music.  The AAX Media (Asian American eXchange)broadcasts at KALI FM 106.3 HD2, which showcases and uplifts Asian American & Pacific Islander (AAPI) through music, art and culture. Their goal is to  “be the megaphone for all AAPIs.”

The Levitt Concert Series is part of the non-profit Levitt Pavillion, which sponsors free concerts throughout the United States with a goal of building community thru music.

The show is free to attend and the Levitt Pavillion is located at the northwest corner of MacArthur Park at 2230 W. 6th Street in Los Angeles.
