Police have identified a man killed in a triple shooting in Stockton, California, as 36-year-old Terry Toerurn.

According to ABC 10, police responded to reports of a shooting around 10:36 p.m. Friday at the 4900 block of Greensboro Way. When they arrived they found a 36-year-old man, a 27-year-old man and a 24-year-old man who had been shot. Police attempted to perform life-saving measures on Toerurn, but he was eventually pronounced dead at the scene.

Known to many as “fat Yoshi,” Toerurn was a worker at a Johnny Wokker food truck, KCRA 3 reports.

“He was trying to learn from customer service to cooking to just everything else,” his long-time friend Johnny Khammanh told KCRA 3. “He liked interacting with people…so he made a lot of friends.”

Toerurn’s family was shocked by his death.

“I never expected my little brother to be the victim,” his sister Snoe Rouen told ABC 10. “We don’t have any enemies.”

Homicide detectives are investigating the shooting but do not have any leads so far. A GoFundMe campaign has been created to cover funeral costs and start a memorial fund.
