YouTube gaming superstar Rachell Hofstetter, better known as Valkyrae, has added yet another accomplishment in the bag as the newest global ambassador of British fitness brand, Gymshark.
In a spectacular reveal at New York’s Time Square on Sept. 10, Valkyrae was featured in a “game-changing” advertisement on the billboard, Sportskeeda reports.
Prior to the major announcement that took the internet by storm, Gymshark’s official Twitter account published a mysterious tweet using Valkyrae’s famous Twitter bio, writing “come say hihihiihihiiihi Sept 10, 2022,” hinting at the collaboration with the gaming influencer.
This is the first time Gymshark has collaborated with a gaming influencer.
Shortly after the big reveal, the hashtag #ValkyraeonTimesSquare went viral on social media as fans expressed their happiness, excitement, and shock because of the impressive scale of the announcement.
Valkyrae conveyed her enthusiasm in a tweet by saying, “Incredibly excited to announce I’m one of the new faces of Gymshark.” On that note, Gymshark also announced the new partnership on its official Twitter page.
According to Sportskeeda, fans showered Valkyrae and Gymshark’s official accounts with support. Their posts continue to gather likes and retweets.
Valkyrae is one of YouTube’s most watched female streamers. In addition to her appearance on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list and being named Gaming Creator of the Year by Adweek, Valkyrae’s newest partnership with Gymshark is another impressive addition to her growing list of accolades.
