Simu Liu will star in Prime Video’s series adaptation of Ben Mezrich’s novel Seven Wonders. According to Deadline, Liu will also serve as the series’ executive producer.
Liu will play Dr. Nate Grady, a botanist who teams up with international fixer, Sloane Seydoux, to solve a mystery linked to the Seven Ancient Wonders of the World.
Variety reports that Justin Lin will be an executive producer and director for the show. Adam Cozad (“The Legend of Tarzan,” “Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit”) will also serve as a writer and executive producer. According to Deadline, the pair have worked together on Snap Dragon at Warner Bros.
According to a tweet from Liu, this will be his first project as an executive producer.
