Lucy Liu will star opposite Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Chris Evans in a new, action-comedy holiday film.
Deadline reports that Liu has signed onto Prime Video’s Red One. Details about the film’s synopsis and Liu’s character have not yet been revealed. However, Deadline teased that the film will explore “a whole new universe” in the holiday genre. Production will span across several different Amazon sectors.
According to AV Club, the film will be directed by Jake Kasdan, who worked with Johnson on both Jumanji movies. Chris Morgan, best known for his work on the Fast And the Furious franchise, will write the script.
Prime Video has not announced when production on the film will begin or when the film will be released to the public.
