Tua Tagovailoa and the Miami Dolphins lost to the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday night.
The Dolphins lost the game 17-23. Tagovailoa, who was considered a possible MVP candidate mid-way through the season, only completed 35.7% of his passes, ESPN reports. He threw a total of 145 yards, including one touchdown pass. Adam Schien, a columnist for the NFL, said in his column that it might have been Tagovailoa’s “worst game of his professional career.”
This is the second game in a row the team has lost. Their win-loss record is now 8-5. Next week they will face the Buffalo Bills who are leading the AFC East, the same conference as the Dolphins, with a 10-3 record. Fans hope that Tagovailoa and the Dolphins can bounce back, keeping Miami’s play-offs dream alive.
