During recent interviews, Jessica Henwick, a British Asian actress, has been discussing her role in Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery.
Henwick starred in The Matrix: Resurrections alongside Keanu Reeves. She also played one of the lead roles in the Marvel series “Iron Fist.”
In Glass Onion, Henwick plays Peg the assistant of Birdie Jay, a vain, politically incorrect former supermodel. During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Henwick said she drew on personal experience when playing Peg.
“Well, I mean, I’ve been a PA (production assistant), so I knew what it was like,” she said in the interview. “I quit. I walked off. I was like, ‘I’m done.’ I’ve had those kinds of jobs on set.”
Henwick also discussed Academy-Award winning director Rhian Johnson.
