Jason Robertson on course to break records in Dallas

Filipino American hockey player Jason Robertson could break records soon at the Dallas Stars.

The 23-year-old currently plays as a left winger for the Dallas NHL team. He currently has 33 goals and 33 assists in 51 games for the 2022-23 season. According to Texas Monthly, Robertson is on pace to franchise records for goals and points. He is currently tied for fifth in the league in goals and sixth in points.

“My goal is to just be consistent,” Robertson told Texas Monthly.

Over the weekend, Robertson also appeared in his first All-Star game, representing Dallas in the Central Division. The Dallas Morning News reports that the Central Division team struggled to score in the first period of the All-Star play-off game. Robertson netted the team’s second goal during the dying minutes of the second period.

The Central Division ultimately lost to the Atlantic Division 5-7. Robertson will return to the Stars who currently lead the Western Conference.
