Steven Yeun is rumored to be starring in Thunderbolts, a Marvel movie about an anti-hero team set to premier in 2024.
Several film websites, including Screen Rant, are now reporting that Yeun has been cast in the film. The Walking Dead star’s role will apparently keep him in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for several years.
The Thunderbolts are an antihero team of reformed supervillains in the Marvel comics. According to Comic Book Movie, rumors are now swirling that Yeun will be playing Sentry, also known as Robert Reynolds. Reynolds, a meth addict, became the Sentry after breaking into the lab of a professor and finding Golden Sentry Serum. The serum was originally meant to be used to create super soldiers.
Yeun has not acknowledged the rumors and Marvel has yet to release an official statement.
