Jeremy Lin dropped 50 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists to help the Kaohsiung 17LIVE Steelers win their game against the New Taipei Kings 116-110, The South China Morning Post reports.
The Steelers are currently fifth in the P. League+, the Taiwanese professional league. According to The South China Morning Post, their win keeps them within striking distance of Formosa Taishin Dreamers who are in fourth in the table. The Dreamers currently only hold a place in the playoffs based on head-to-head results.
The victory hit home for Lin, defeating his younger brother who plays for the New Taipei Kings. He shared photos featuring his brother on Instagram with the caption, “#glorytoGod.”
Lin told the South China Morning Post that he surprised himself with his performance.
“I had no idea what I can offer the team as a player so I was surprised with the performance, it’s just I happened to be hot-handed today,” he said.
