To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before spinoff debuts May 18 on Netflix

Going to school in South Korea is an adventure by itself, but going to a foreign country to be united with your long distance boyfriend should be something special.

It doesn’t quite work out that way for Kitty Song Covey (Anna Cathcart) in this To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before spinoff, XO,Kitty.

Anna Cathcart reprises her role as the sister of Lara Jean (Lana Condor) who found love with Peter (Noah Centeneo). No doubt Kitty hopes to have the same success, but when she arrives, her would-be boyfriend, Dae (Minyeong Cho) has an unwelcomed surprise for her, Yuri (Gia Kim).

Heartbroken and undeterred, Kitty is determined to make the best of the situation and decides she’s going to stay at the Korean Independent School of Seoul (KISS) and make some memories of her own at the same school attended by her late mother.

Best-selling author Jenny Han, who wrote All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, created this spinoff and serves as its showrunner.

It also stars Sang Heon Lee (Min Ho), Anthony Keyvan (Q), Peter Thurnwald (Alex) with Yunjin Kim (Jina), Sarayu Blue (Trina), John Corbett (Dan Covey), Michael K Lee (Professor Lee), Jocelyn Shelfo (Madison), Théo Augier (Florian), and Regan Aliyah (Juliana)

XO, Kitty debuts on Netflix May 18.
