‘One Piece’ is breaking Netflix records

One Piece is breaking Netflix records, surpassing fan favorites like Wednesday and Stranger Things, Malay Mail reports.

The live-action adaptation of the popular anime series made its Netflix debut on August 31. It became the most viewed show in 84 countries on its debut weekend, MovieWeb reports.

One Piece follows Monkey D. Luffy (Iñaki Godoy), a young adventurer who leaves his village to search for One Piece, a legendary treasure that would make him king of the pirates.

All eight episodes of the series are available for streaming on Netflix.
