A clip posted by The Daily Show of Ali Wong Thursday apparently struck a nerve with viewers and generated 1 million views in less than 24 hours.
The excerpt from a 2019 appearance by Wong during which she details an incident with another comedian she declined to name, but described as “not a very successful comedian”
She says he came up to her during her second pregnancy and began to rub her belly with his “fat sweaty hands which is so gross to begin with.”
It’s like “why don’t you finger me while you’re at it,” she continued. “It’s so not OK. Just because I’m pregnant it doesn’t mean it’s OK to touch my belly.”
The comic apparently didn’t take Wong’s comments very seriously and seemingly dismissed her feelings.

“Yeah, because historically, that’s always been the winning combo for recognition and success,” she recalled responding.

“I’m like, be a BETTER White guy.”
She went on to name a number of White comedians who have lucrative careers, as Trevor Noah nodded in agreement.
