BTS band member Jungkook’s song “Seven” has officially become the fastest song to reach 1 billion streams on Spotify, Billboard reports.
“Seven” is Jungkook’s debut solo single. The artist has been exploring solo music opportunities outside of BTS, who have gone on hiatus, for a few years. He dropped “Seven,” which features American rapper Latto, on July 14, 2023.
According to Forbes, “Seven” broke the record for a billion streams in 108 days. The record had been previously set by Miley Cyrus’ single Flowers in August, reaching a billion streams in 112 days.
Spotify posted about Jungkook’s achievement on X, formerly known as Twitter.
