Olympic gold medalist Suni Lee declares it’s “good to be back”

Olympic gold medalist Suni Lee is letting the world know she’s back in the gym.

She posted her first reel on Instagram in nearly four months this week showing her putting in the work to get back in shape for the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics.

“Good to be back,” she declared on Instagram. Lee released a video showing pratfalls and all.

One mother applauded her for not being afraid to show her warts.

“I’m so thankful to you for posting this!!, she wrote. My daughter is on a competitive for the first time and tends to be hard on herself for mistakes that are just going to happen sometimes. I showed this to her so she can see that even Olympians fall every once in a while…and then you just keep getting back up!!

Lee recently revealed she’s dealing with a kidney condition that forced her to drop out of a selection event for the U.S. World Championships.

In an interview with Self Magazine, she reviewed her ailment has caused her body to swell up, leading her to gain 40 pounds.

“How do I just randomly wake up one day swollen, and now I’m stuck with this condition for the rest of my life?” Lee told SELF.

She’s cut back on her training schedule but still has her sights set on Paris and returning to the medal stand representing Team USA.

“Paris 2024 loading,” said one fan in the comments.

“Happy to see you back, queen,” said another.
