Tua Tagovailoa and Miami Dolphins beat Raiders, move to 1st in AFC East

Tua Tagovailoa and the Miami Dolphins beat the Oakland Raiders on Sunday, moving closer to securing a spot in the playoffs.

The Dolphins secured a 20-13 victory over the Raiders. Despite the lower score, Tagovailoa had a great game, throwing 325 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. According to the Palm Beach Post, the Dolphins had three turnovers but most of the game’s errors were overcome by Tagovailoa.

The Dolphins now have a 7-3 win-loss record moving them up to first place in the AFC East. However, Tagovailoa and the team recognize that there is still work to do.

“Well, the job is not done. There’s nothing accomplished to being 7-3. But as far as our focus today, we won the game, and we’re going to take that and we’re going to learn from that film,” Tagovailoa said after the game, according to Sports Illustrated.

The Dolphins will take on the New York Jets this coming Friday, November 24. The Jets are 4-6 and in third place in the AFC East.
