Police investigating burglaries targeting Asian businesses in Bloomington

Police are investigating several burglaries that appear to be targeting the homes of Asian businesses in Bloomington, Illinois.

According to WGLT, Bloomington police have responded to three burglaries over the past few weeks where the victims have been small business owners of Asian descent.

The burglaries focused on four specific areas Veterans Parkway, Towanda Barnes Road, G.E. Road and Empire Street, 25 News Now reports.

Police have advised people in Bloomington to pay attention to their surroundings and make their residence appear as if someone’s home.
