The Asian American Foundation recently announced a list of speakers and panelists for its annual Heritage Month Summit and Celebration, Variety reports. The summit will be held in New York from May 2 to May 3.
Speakers include Congressman Andy Kim (D-NJ), actor Steven Yeun, composer Ari Afsar, Boston mayor Michelle Wu, activist Helen Zia and several other AANHPI community members.
The theme for this year’s summit is “Together We Build Power.” According to TAAF’s website, the theme “celebrates our collective power and amplifies our efforts in creating impactful, lasting change across all industries.”
Throughout the two-day summit, attendees will engage in workshops, panels and networking events. TAAF is also hosting AAPI All-Star basketball game.
