Man shot at Sikh temple in Indianapolis

A man was shot at Sikh Satsang, a gurdwara in Indianapolis on Sunday afternoon.

According to FOX 59, officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were called to the gurdwara around 12:44 p.m. They found a man with at least one gunshot wound.

The man was taken to the hospital and is reportedly in stable condition.

WRTV reports that police say the shooting took place in the gurdwara’s restroom. They believe it was an isolated incident that had nothing to do with the temple but are still investigating possible motives.
