ICE arrests Bhutanese permanent residents in Pennsylvania

Immigration and Customs Enforcement has arrested six Bhutanese green card holders in central Pennsylvania, WPSU reports.

One of the men arrested is from Cumberland County, and the other five men are from Dauphin County. According to WGAL, Dauphin County Commissioner Justin Douglas, who represents part of Harrisburg, has been working to get the community answers.

A press conference was held at the state capitol building in Pennsylvania. Community leaders and politicians alike demanded answers from ICE.

“He was already working, and he was leading a normal life,” Devi Gurung, whose younger brother was detained by ICE, told FOX 43. “To be picked up suddenly, like this, we were very surprised, and we want him back.”
