Korean American soccer player Casey Phair made her professional debut for Angel City FC on Friday.
Phair, 17, was the youngest player to debut at the Women’s World Cup in 2023. At the time, she was just 16.
She played her first professional game in the National Women’s Soccer League on Friday night against Gotham FC. She entered the game in the 76th minute.
The young forward appeared in a preseason game for Angel City in February this year. She scored a header late in the second half to tie the game at 1-1.
Phair represents South Korea on the international level. She has appeared in 12 matches for the senior team and scored for goals.
