A woman already facing hate crime charges in an incident against a Vietnamese American neighbor now is accused of trying to run over the victim’s husband.
Police in Shoreline, Washington arrested Jan Myers on charges of felony vehicular assault and violating a court order, reports the Daily Beast.
Myers had previously been ordered by the court to stay away from from Thi Pham and had been sued by the couple and accused of continued harassment against them, threatening the woman’s life and violating a no-contact order.
On Wednesday, police records indicate they believe she tried to attack the family with her car. She’s accused of screaming at Pham and her husband William Healy and then driving her car straight at him before he escaped into his home.
Bail has been set at $10,000.
In April Pham recorded a video of Myers allegedly threatening her life. A voice can be heard saying “You’re not gonna live very long.”Pham also accused Myers of giving her and her two-year-old son the middle finger while Myers was semi-naked below the waist.
