Woman found guilty in shaken baby trial

A woman has been found guilty of murder in a shaken baby trial involving the death of 18-month-old Angel Wong in Louisiana.

Tatiana Burns, a foster mom, was convicted of second-degree murder on Friday, Law & Crime reports. She admitted to shaking Wong to for an hour four years ago when she was under her care.

According to Shreveport Bossier City Advocate, the state prosecutors also called four medical doctors who all said the fatal bleeding and swelling Wong experienced came from acute abusive head trauma.

Burns will appear in court again on July 23 for sentencing.
