Rocket 24: U.S. Cosplayer Making Her Way into Japan

A popular cosplayer in the United States is extending her fame into Japan, reports Rocket 24

Megan Coffey recently appeared at the Comiket 88 event in Tokyo.

The appearance as well as subsequent coverage in Japanese media has been well received there.

She’s been praised for her accurate portrayal of numerous female characters.

I wore this makeup for 7 minutes before I quit. It's too hot in FL for this costume lol but I'm happy with it so far! Still a few things left to do but I was dying to makeup test it! ^^

Sheik is such a pain to wear to a con. The pieces wanna slide off and they take constant adjusting, and the ears I used here were hard to hear out of lol. Not to mention it was very, very warm. Glad I got this shot of it from my homie @tigershot_jt back at Megacon! ^^
