Blacks in South Sacramento are showing their support for Asians following a string of robberies targeting that community, reports CBS Sacramento.
The surge in crime has caused some tensions between the two groups because some Asians feel they are being singled out by Blacks.
Members of the African American community are publicly speaking out to lend support and reassurance.
“You can’t say the entire Black community is targeting Asians, we support the Asian community,” said African American activist Berry Accius standing in Sacramento’s Little Saigon.
He was joined by City Councilmember Eric Guerra.
“We wanna tackle real social issues of education and workforce development, not just crime but also poverty; it’s gonna take us as a community to work together,” he said.

RE: Blacks speak out against crimes on Asians in Sacramento: This is insane! Criminals usually can't keep their mouth shut so I'm sure some one knows who did this shit. They may even be out of towners visiting to commit crime.
