10-year old Neel Sethi has been cast in the role of Mowgli in Disney’s Jungle Book due out in 3D in October 2015, reports Bollywood Life.
The film is expected to be a combination of both live-action and animation. Sethi reportedly will be the only live actor on the screen. Every other character will be animated.
“Finding the right kid to play Mowgli was imperative,” said director Jon Favreau. “Neel has tremendous talent and charisma. There is a lot riding on his little shoulders and I’m confident he can handle it.”
