Ravi Patel, who documented his dating triumphs, trials and tribulations in the documentary Meet the Patels is joining the cast of Wonder Woman 1984, reports Movie Web.
It’s not yet known what role he will play.
Patel has been on a roll having also appeared in Masters of None, Grandfathered, Superstore and Wrecked.
According to Deadline, Meet the Patels is also being turned into a full-length feature film.
Gal Gadot, who stars as Wonderwoman, told attendees at Wondercon last weekend, that Wonder Woman 1984 is not a sequel, but should be considered a stand alone movie. Chris Pine is expected to return as Steve Trevor. Gabriella Wilde, who starred in The Three Musketeers and Carrie, has also joined the cast.
